St. 225 & 221 alerted for a vehicle fire in the area of Frankstown Gardens. 225 EN and 221 Squad went in service shorlty after. Penn Hills PD arrived on scene reporting a fully involved vehicle fire in the area of Frankstown @ Crab Hollow. The Engine and Squad arrived making a quick attack and extinguishment. 225 SVC arrived and assisted with clean up. All units returned in service.</p>

PIC W/ INJURIES, ARB & NADINE

St. 221 and 222 RQ were alerted for a PIC with reported Injuries. 911 Communications reporting a Collision Alarm from a Vehicle. Further update revealed a 2 car crash with 1 male bleeding from the head. 222 RQ followed by 221 Squad were enroute. 222 EN was enroute as the back up Engine. While units were responding Communications advised the Police were on scene reporting negative injuries and all Fire and EMS Units can return.<br />

COMMERCIAL FIRE ALARM, 2698 ROBINSON BLVD

St. 225, 221, 222, and 227TK were alerted for Smoke in the Building at 2698 Robinson Blvd. 225 Engine and 221 Wagon both went in route followed by 227 Truck, with 222 acknowledging. 225 Engine arrived finding burnt food in Apt. 12 on the 3rd Floor. Command requested a blower to the front door and was assisted by 221 Wagon and 225 Service. Command held the assignment with 225 and 221. Crews ventilated and returned in service.<br />

ELECTRICAL CONDITION, 9929 FRANKSTOWN ROAD
<p>
Stations 225, 221, 222 and 227 were dispatched at 1:00pm for a possible electrical condition inside of a residence at 9929 Frankstown Road. County Dispatch reported the resident at this address said his power keeps flickering and there is a low hanging wire outside of the residence. 225 Engine-1 arrived on scene with 225 Assistant establishing command. A low hanging wire was located running from pole to pole across Frankstown Road. This was determined to be phone/cable wires. The residence was checked and no problems were found so the assignment was held with 225 Engine-1. Utility companies were notified and 225 Crews provided traffic control around the low hanging wire until the cable company arrived and secured the wire. Fire crews returned in service once the wire was secured.</p>
KITCHEN FIRE, 7716 MT. CARMEL ROAD

Reported Kitchen Fire. Wagon Crew arrived finding a small fire in the Stove which was extinguished quickly. Command held the assignment to the Wagon & 225 TK.</p>

COVER ASSIGNMENT, ST. 137 _EDGEWOOD

221 Squad with a crew of 4 under the Command of Capt Whalen responded to St. 137 for the Cover Assignment. 221 Wagon with a crew of 4 remained in the 221st House with the Chief. Station 137 and there 1st and 2nd alarms were working a Structure Fire on Locust St in Edgewood Boro. Squad Crew staffed the 137 House till they returned in service. </p>
SMOKE INVESTIGATION, 7840 MT. CARMEL ROAD

St. 221 & 225 units were alerted for a large amount of smoke in the area. 224 Chief arrived on scene reporting a heavy smoke cloud in the area from an unknown location and he was investigating. 221 Chief & Deputy arrived and was assisting in searching the area for the origin of the smoke. Operations held the Wagon and Engine in station while the Chiefs investigated. The area was searched thouroughly but nothing was found. All units were returned in service as a good intent.</p>

St. 221 & 225 were alerted for a Residential Fire Alarm. 221 Chief arrived on scene assuming Command reporting a 2 story brick split entry with nothing showing going to investigate. 225 ENG arrived taking position past the Structure and the Squad took position at the Plug just before the Structure. Command spoke to the occupants and confirmed the alarm was set off by steam from the shower and returned all units in service.</p>
