RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE, 9817 GLENDALE ROAD

Stations 225, 221, 222 and 227 were dispatched around 2:38am for a reported structure fire in the 9800 block of Glendale Road. Police on scene confirmed a fully involved residential structure. 221 Wagon was the first fire apparatus on scene with 221 Captain established&nbsp;command until the arrival of 225 Chief. 221 Captain gave an initial report of a 1-1/2 story residence well involved, water supply established, and crews going to work. 225 Truck arrived and took position in front of the structure to set up truck operations, and 225 Chief assumed command. 227 Truck, 227 Rescue, 222 Engine and 221 Squad&nbsp;crews arrived and assisted with fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul. It took crews about an hour to bring the fire under control. Allegheny County Fire Marshal was called in to investigate the cause. No one was injured and all fire crews did an outstanding job to bring this fire under control. Units returned in service as they picked up.</p>
