St. 221, doesn't, 225TK, 227TK, 102RIT were alerted for a reported Kitchen Fire. 221 Squad arrived on scene reporting a 1 1/2 story with smoke showing from front and rear doors. 221 Squad crew stretched a 2" line to the front door and made entry finding a pot of grease on fire on the stove extending up into the vent and cabinets above. Crew covered, extinguished, and removed the pot from the kitchen to the outside. Command held the assignment with 221 units returning all others. Crew used TIC to check for extension with none found. Crews continued ventilation and advised the occupant. Crews returned in service as they picked up.<br />

St. 221 & 225 were alerted for a Trampoline on fire in the back yard. 221 Deputy arrived on scene followed by the Service with a fire burning on the base of the Trampoline. Crews extinguished the fire with the callers garden hose. 221 Chief released all units and obtained information for a report. Owner was advised the situation would be turned over to the Fire Marshal in the AM.</p>
ODOR INVESTIGATION, 9907 FRANKSTOWN ROAD

Shortly after the Earthquake tremors hit the Pittsburgh Area, Stations 225, 221, 222 and 227 were dispatched at 2:52pm for an odor investigation inside of the building at 9907 Frankstown Road. 221 Chief arrived on scene and established command and reported nothing showing from the exterior, workers on the roof, and several people evacuating the building. 225 Engine arrived and 225 Assistant assumed command. Crews from 221, 225 and 227 checked the building and found nothing other than some paint fumes from work being done on the building. No problem found. Building occupants were advised and all fire units returned in service.</p>

GAS LEAK, 164 FAYBERN DRIVE

Station 221 and 225 were alerted for a odor of Natural Gas inside a residence. 221 CHF arrived on scene with 221 SQD sending crews in to investigate. 221 WGN stoodby at the hydrant and 225 ENG to the scene to assist investigating crew. Crews found a very slight odor to near the stove and homeowner indicated a issue with the dryer. 221CHF requested EQT Gas to the scene for further investigation. All units returned in service.<br />

St 221 was alerted for a Personal Injury Crash with Injures @ 7856 Mark Dr. 221 Squad arrived finding one person still in the car compling of shoulder pain. Patient was transported by PHEMS and fluids on roadway were contained. 221 Squad returned in service.</p>
PHYSICAL RESCUE, MT CARMEL @ GEISLER WAY
<p>
St. 221 was alerted for a reported Hot Wire down and Tree on fire in the area. 221 Squad arrived on scene finding a tree on hot wires arching and on fire. Squad Crew blocked traffic at Mt Camrel and Tyler and Mt Carmel and Chadwick. Crew also located a PAT Bus stopped in middle of road and while trying to back up and turn around the Bus got hung up and one of the high tension wires that was hot and down. There were 6 occupants on the bus and all were fine. DUQ Light, PAT Supv were notfd to respond. Crews spoke to all occupants and advised them to remain seated on the bus and they would be fine. Crews also located a Transformer that had been struck by lightning and blew the lid of the transformer. It appeared that Lightning struck the tree as well causing it to fall on the wires. Duq Light arrived in about an hour and removed the line from the bus and cleared the road of all wires. County DPW was notfd to remove the tree. All fire units returned in service.<br />

COMMERCIAL FIRE ALARM, 8930 FRANKSTOWN RAD

Stations 225 and 221 were dispatched at 2:25am for a commercial fire alarm activated at The Family Links building on Frankstown Road. Just as units were arriving on scene, dispatch reported proper code received by the alarm company and requesting a disregard. 225 Truck was on scene at this time so 225 Chief confirmed the false activation and returned all fire units in service.</p>
SMOKE INVESTIGATION, 123 HARVEST DRIVE

Stations 221 225 and 227 were alerted for a residential fire alarm, house smoke alarm with individual on scene without proper passcode. 221 squad arrived on scene and was met by the homeowner stating it was burnt food and that they were on the line with the alarm company. Squad crew advised to open some windows to vent the house while they were on the line with the alarm company. Units returned in service without incident.</p>

Station 221 and Rescue 222 were alerted for a 2 vehicle accident at the the intersection of East Lemington and Brushton Ave. Upon Arrival 221 Squad and Lt. 2 found 1 of the two vehicles with damage to the drivers side door, preventing the patient from exiting. The patient complained of neck pain and was placed in a cervical collar. 221 Squad crew pop the door, then PH EMS took over patient care and extricated said patient. 221 and 222 returned in service.</p>

Squad Crew assisted the Police with a Feline that had gotten its head stuck in a chain link fence. Crews used a pair of bolt cutters to cut and open a few link of the fence freeing the feline. Units returned in service.</p>

ELECTRICAL CONDITION, 477 FLAMINGO AVE
<p>
Stations 225, 221, 222 and 227 were dispatched around 3:48pm for a possible structure fire at 477 Flamingo Avenue. Dispatch reported a haze and odor of smoke in the electrical breaker room. 221 Deputy was first on scene and reported nothing showing from the exterior, going in to investigate. 221 Deputy reported a problem with the electrical junction box and requested a thermal imaging camera from the first in engine. 227 Engine took position at the hydrant in front of the structure while 221 Squad crew went in with a TIC to assist with interior operations. 222 units were disregarded while in route. 225 Engine arrived with 225 Assistant assuming command. Problem was limited to the main breaker switch. Power was isolated to the breaker and the electric company was notified. The building electrician arrived on scene and the structure was turned over to them. All fire units returned in service.</p>

QRS DETAIL, 7700 MT. CARMEL RD
<p>
Station 221 alerted for a 2 car MVA with injuries in front of 7770 MT Carmel Rd, PEN. 221 Wagon responded with police already onscene. Upon arriving onscene, 221 Wagon was directed by police to an 70 yom cons and alert complaining of a laceration to mouth. 225 EN1 reported to the accident but was put back in service by police. While 221 was doing patient assessment, medic 383 arrived onscene and patient care was transferred. 221 Cleared scene and returned back in service without incident.</p>
<p>
221 Squad, Service & QRS were attending CPR Class at MFD 196, Chief 221 had 225 added to the card.</p>
