St. 221, 222, 225, & 227 were alerted for a reported Structure Fire. 221 Squad Crew arrived on scene reporting a working fire in the Living Room. Crews went to work with preconnect making a quick knock on the fire. Other units arrived and assisted with overhaul and ventilation. Fire was under control and turned over to the fire marshal for investigation.

ILLEGAL FIRE, 700 SOUTHERN AVE
St. 225, 221, & 227 were alerted for a reported House Fire in area. Caller reporting smoke coming from the windows of a house. 225 Chief arrived on scene reporting a mulch fire against the house. 225 Chief held the assignment to 221 Squad already on the air and returned the rest. Squad Crew arrived with 221 Chief and crews used a shovel to turn over the mulch and a neighbors garden hose to extinguish the fire. All units returned in service.

ELECTRICAL FIRE, 2648 ROBINSON BLVD
St. 221 dispatched on a fill for St. 225 for a reported Emergency Light malfunction. 221 Squad and 225 Squad arrived on scene investigating. Crews located a bad emergency light on 3rd floor. Crews disconnected the light and found burnt circuit board. Wires were taped off and light was turned over to the Fire Marshall. Crews returned in service.

St 225 and 221 were alerted for a smell of smoke in the area, 221 Squad and Captain on scene with a strong odor thru the area , units were unable to locate anything and believed it to be a recreational fire in the area. All units returned in service.
