St. 222 and 221 were alerted for a MVA at the intersection of Sandycreek and ARB. While units were enroute county advised PD onscene with a minor arm injury no fire dept. needed. All units returned.

RESIDENTAIL STRUCTURE FIRE, 1200 BLK BLACKADORE AVE.
Station 221, 225, 222 were alerted to the location indicated above for a possible Residential Structure fire. Upon arrival of Fire Crews, they found a rec fire by the junkyard. With further investigation crews found out that it was a controlled burn. PBF 17 Eng was also alerted on the call. All units were in service and returned.

RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE, 7971 DOLLMAN RD.
Sta 221 and 225 were alerted for a smoking condition in the above location. 221 SQD w/ 5 and 221 SVC w/ 2. 221 SQD on scene PD reporting smell of smoke in the kitchen. 221 Capt 2 w/ command. 221 Squad crew and 225 Chief investigated and found a faulty light fixture (ballast) removed fixture from residence and home owner was advised. All units returned in service.

COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE FIRE, 10525 FRANKSTOWN RD.
Stations 221 and 225 were alerted for an electrical condition at the above location. 225 Capt on location reporting nothing showing and that the incident was above the gas pumps. 221 SQD crew along with 225-1 crew threw a 25 ft Extension Ladder onto the canopy above the gas pumps. Crews found a light fixture hanging down from the canopy no fire or smoke was found all units returned in service.

Sta 221 and 225 were alerted to the above location for a large tree down along with wires. 221 SQD arrived on location with a large tree down with power lines down Duq Light was notified. No need for Fire Services, wires were not live.

GAS LEAK, 8525 FRANKSTOWN RD.
Stations 221 and 225 alerted for a ruptured gas line at the location noted above. 221SQ was in with 3. No acknowledgement from 225, 221Engineer placed 222 in on the fill. At this time, 225 SVC has called enroute. Units on location with the gas company, and which in fact was a ruptured gas line. Gas company shut gas off, and all units were in service and ready.

St. 221 and 225 were alerted for a Residential Fire alarm. 221 SVC on scene with a 2 story brick with nothing showing with evacuation in progress. Crews investigated and found a small fire was on the stove but was now out. There was a smoke condition and crews ventilated residence. All crews returned back in service.

St 221 and 225 were alerted for a report or wires down. 221 Capt and Squad on scene with cable and phone lines down across the road pole to house. Crews cut the lines to clear the street and returned in service. Cable Company was requested for repair.

Station 221 and 225 were alerted for a gas leak outside of above location. Prior to arrival, crews were advised that resident had shut off the gas. 221 SQ arrived on scene along with 225 EN. Resident had the the gas off at the meter. Also resident called EQT Gas themselves. All units returned.

VEHICLE FIRE, E LEMINGTON @ BRUSHTON
Stations 221, 222, 225 were alerted for a vehicle fire. 221 SQ arrived on scene w/ a fully involved vehicle with fire extending into the woods. Crews extinguished the fire and began overhaul procedures. 221 Capt requested the Fire Marshal due to suspicious circumstances. Units returned in service as they picked up.

FLOODING CONDITION, 1200-BLK BLACKADORE AVE
Station 221 dispatched for a water condition in the residence. Squad, Service and the Asst Chief marked on the air. Units arrived on the scene to find the roadway covered in water from a large amount of rain run off proceeding into several homes. State and County DPW notified for sewers and debris. Units monitored and checked water flow to multiple homes. Crews cleared several storm sewer basins allowing the water to receed, opened the roadway back up, and water levels decreased in homes. Home owners advised, units returned in quarters.<br />

<div style="text-align: left">221 SVC investigated a tree struck by lightning in the callers back yard. The caller stated her tree was struck 7 times by lighting from the recent storm. Crew evaluated the tree and nothing was found. The caller was again advised to contact tree service in AM.</div>

SEVERE WEATHER STAND BY, MUNICIPALITY OF PENN HILLS
All Penn Hills & Verona Stations were placed on stand by at the request of Penn Hills Emergency Management. Severe Weather was approaching the area, and the NWS Pgh issued several Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Warnings for Western Pa. Units ran a few calls but nothing more than some heavy rain was noted.

WIRES DOWN, MANILLA @ CUSHING
While the 221 units were attending a STAT Medevac LZ Safety Class at St. 222, County Communications struck the alarm for St. 221 & 225 for a report of Electric & Cable Lines down in roadway. The Squad Crew remained at class while 221 CMD and 225 EN responded and located wires down at intersection of Manilla @ Cushing. Crews found that owner of property was cutting down a tree and the branches dislodged the wire from the house. The Line was still energized and connected. Duq Light and Verizon were both notified to respond. Crews placed some caution tape to warn oncoming motorists. All units returned in service.

ELEVATOR ENTRAPMENT, 10918 FRANKSTOWN RD
Squad 221 was added on the fill for RQ227 for a female trapped and unresponsive in an elevator on the 2nd floor. EN & SVC 225 arrived on scene with police and medics. Just prior to arriving on scene Command reported the female was removed from the elevator and all units were returning.

St. 221, 222, 225 were alerted for a vehicle fire in the driveway. 221 Squad was in service with a crew of 3. While enroute 911 Communications advised police were on scene reporting a fully involved vehicle fire next to the garage and they were upgrading assignment. 227 TK was added to the assignment. 221 Squad arrived on scene with a good fire in the engine compartment. Crews pulled a Line and went to work extinguishing the fire. 225 EN was requested to bring tools to the scene to open the hood. 222 EN arrived and assisted with extingiushment and overhaul. Fire was under control the card was held with units on scene returning all others. Units returned in service as they picked up.
