St. 225 & 221 were alerted for a reported Wire Arching in a Tree. 221 Squad responded with a crew of 5. While enroute 225 Chief arrived on scene investigating. Crews located a wire in a tree at 8914 and had Duquesne Light notified. All units returned in service.

RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE, 443 LEE DR.
St. 225, 222, 221, TK227 alerted for a Working Structure Fire. 227 TK arrived reporting a working fire in a 2 story brick with crews taking a line for attack. 227 EN arrived laying a 5" supply line to feed the TK. 221 Squad arrived on scene with crews handling truck work and laddering the building. 225 EN arrived with there crew handling 2nd floor search. 222 units assumed RIT responsibilities. EMS was tending to a critical victim found in the front yard on arrival of PD. Search Crew located a unconscious large breed dog and removed him to the front of the structure where several of the chiefs and a paramedic tried to revive the K9 with the use of our PET O2 masks and CPR. Crews worked very hard for about 20 minutes but were unsuccessful. Crews had the fire out and overhauled quickly. Units ventilated and the Fire Marshall arrived for investigation. Animal Control was notified to retrieve the Dog and 1-800-BOARDUP was contacted to secure the premise. Units began returning as they picked up.<br />

Station 221, 225, 222 and TK 227 were alerted for an unknown fire in a roadway. 221 SQ called in route with 4 and arrived onscene shortly there after. 221 SQ reported small fire in the roadway, canceled all other units, extinguished the fire and returned in service. It was later determined to be a pair of Chuck Taylor shoes on fire in the middle of the roadway.

Crews arrived on scene finding a telephone wire pulled from the house and was low hanging. Crews used some Chem Tape to secure the line to a porch support and pull it up off the road. Verizon was notified and all units returned in service.

St. 221, 225, 222, & TK227 were alerted for a reported Structure Fire. Chief 221 arrived and found a large Outside Fire in the Back Yard. There was no hazard and all units were cancelled. Homeowners were advised to maintain a water source and use only for cooking. All units returned in service.
