St. 225, 221, & 227 were alerted for a reported Odor of Natural Gas, possible CO Condidtion and no one answering the door. 221 Squad and SVC responded with a crew of 7. 225 Asst marked on the air as well as 227RQ. While enroute Dominion People called back reporting they raised the owners. 221 Squad and 225 Asst continued non emergency to evaluate. Gas Company red tagged the furnace and all fire units returned in service.

Station 221, 225 alerted for a residential fire alarm activation. Asst 221, squad with 6 and the service with 4 marked on the air. Dispatch advised alarm company received proper code and fire departments can cancel. Asst 221 held units in quarters. Command spoke to contractor on scene advising they were working on a boiler and set off the alarm.<br />

RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE, 196 SUNCREST DR

Station 221, 225, 222 and 227 Truck were alerted to 196 Suncrest Drive for a structure fire. 221 Asst arrived on scene to find a 1 1/2 story single family dwelling nothing showing from the exterior. Police units advised home owner reported a stove fire to be out. Squad 221 arrived and crews investigated. Crews found a pot of liquid grease on fire on the stove top with a 3 ft flame and a smoke condition throughout the house. Fire was snuffed and removed from the residents. Command held 221 squad on the scene for ventilation. Residents ventilated, advised home owner crew returned in service.

While responding, County advised PD on scene with nothing showing. 221 Squad arrived on scene and connected to a plug at 201 Penny Drive and stood by. The rest of the Squad crew assisted 227 with Salvage, Overhaul and Ventilation. During ventilation crews found a few hot spots in the walls. The fire was contained to the bathroom on the first floor of the structure. Units packed up and returned in service as they were ready.

After further investigation 221 Assistant held the assignment to Station 225 and himself, all other could return in service.

<p>St. 221 was alerted for reported Commercial Fire, with residents reporting smoke in the structure at the Duff Manor High Rise. Units arrived and crews began investigation. Crews found an odor of smoke in building which was determined to be from the Structure Fire on Long Road. Crews also evaluated a patient for breathing problems and requested a Medic Unit for Transport. Crews reset the alarm and returned in service.</p>
